World 100 Club

7th Annual Meeting (2010)

The Homestead, Virginia

The West team scored the first “3-Peat” in the history of the Riley Plate by besting the East team 18 to 8. Thunderstorms threatened to wash out the first round on Thursday,

but the storm passed and the teams were able to tee up at about 1 p.m. and finish their rounds. On the second day, the West opened up a commanding lead by taking six of seven matches.

The 2011 venue will be on the West Coast, and the East will be hungry to regain the plate, which it last held at Torrey Pines.
