After a suspense-filled three days of competition, the West was able to regain the World 100 Club “Riley” Plate from the East team. The competition went down to the final two groups of singles matches before the West could garnish the 16 ½ points necessary to retake the Plate from the East. West Captain Dick Krell shot a stellar round of 76 on the very difficult Straits course to win his match over the tenacious Adam Anthony.
