Aussies help the East to retain the Riley Plate

The 16^th Annual World 100 Club meeting was held at Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Coast. Due to an imbalance in representation in East vs. West, the Australian contingent and the Wolf brothers were moved over to the East team.

This turned out to be decisive as the Aussies scored several wins and Quaich winner Hank Wolf was again undefeated, going 2-0-1. Peter Leslie was also undefeated and won his first Club Cup. Walt Dennis of the East easily secured his third

World 100 Club Vase, shooting in the 70s all three days. Joe Gilles was the East Team MVP and incoming West Captain Lach Hough was his team’s MVP.
